Jiu-jitsu Course to Shodan
TECHNIQUES FOR 8TH KYU
1. Ukemi (be able to take a fall.)
2. Know the hand techniques up to basic wrist lock, pressure points
3. Oi-zuki, gedan bari, jodan uke, mae-geri, shuto uke, hiza geri
4. Obi-goshi

TECHNIQUES FOR 7TH KYU
1. Ippon seoi-nage, soto makikomi, spooning throw
2. wrist locks, arm bars, shoulder locks, reverse wrist techniques lifting wrist lock
3. uchi uke, Gyaka-zuki, mae geri fumi-komi,
4. basic combinations

TECHNIQUES FOR 6TH KYU
1. hane goshi, tai-otoshi, kote gaiishi, hari goshi, sode tsuri-komi-goshi
2. striking techniques (shuto uchi, reiken uchi, empi uchi)
3. Downing techniques

TECHNIQUES FOR 5TH KYU
1. uki-Otoshi, deashi-bari, Kouchi gari, sasae tsuri-komi-ashi
2. morote uke, soto uke, yoko geri
3. One step sparring & one step applications (of holds ect).

TECHNIQUES FOR 4TH KYU
1. O soto gari, O uchi gari, Ko soto gake, O kuri ashi bari
2. Mawashi geri, ushiro geri, mikazuki geri

TECHNIQUES FOR 3rd KYU
1. Three step sparring.
2. French Randori
3. Jiyu kumite

TECHNIQUES FOR 2nd KYU
1. Shi-ho nage, Soto-makikomi, kata-guruma, koshi-nage
2. Shimi waza
3. Escapes from holds
4. Randori
5. Chinese shadow boxing

TECHNIQUES FOR 1st KYU
1. Ground work with related techniques, (hook punch, neck locks, skin stretching ect)
2. Dashing technuques
3. Ippon jiyu kumite

TECHNIQUES FOR 1st DAN
1. Jo-jutsu
